Dude, you max out way too often. I maxed out on deads last week and I still feel it. Stay safe brother and listen to your body, you'll get injured otherwise.

You should start from a lower position. Your back isn't getting much help from your legs it seems.

barbell rows one week and deads the next, he should only pull twice a month.

Would you recommend the same for a juiced lifter?

Wiggins, what's the most you've ever deadlifted?

600...I have t-rex arms...I hate heavy deads...If you have short arms for deads, it blows...
I'm a presser not a puller...I struggle with two 45s on t-bar rows...

It`s a shame that some so called "gyms" don`t even have a fucking power rack.

Fucking wussy ass times for gyms  these days.....no power racks, evrerbody doing half reps and calling them good ,no using chalk,no grunting..........faggy ass fitness centers is what they are and shockingly, nobody`s fucking fit at all!! :(

OK,I went somewhere for a minute,but I`m back now.  ;D

ironeck, when working on form,or changing form, which you are trying to do,always go a lot lighter.

If I were you,I`d do deads every other week for a while.....one day very light for form, and the other week, heavier for reps of 5-8.

Just my thoughts bro.   ;)

at the risk of sounding like an old man when i fist started following powerlifting and bodybuilding if you wanted info you either had to look at a bodybuilding mag and once in a blue moon there would be a power training article in it, or once a year youd be lucky enough to find a copy of Powerlifting USA, or you just watched the bigger older guys in the gym train and ask them for advice, hell i remember when you had to wait for 2-3 months to find out who won the Olympia from the latest copy of Flex, lol.

I thought it was great when MuscleMag listed a 900 number for contest results, before that,I`d wait months to find out who won the Olympia.

By the time I found out who won, somebody else had won it.

barbell rows one week and deads the next, he should only pull twice a month.

Very true.

You'll actually get weaker in the deadlift the more you do it. Kills your CNS.

Switch up your main lifts every couple of weeks and watch the numbers improve!

Deadlift once a month and in 6 months I bet you add 50lbs to it.

this was the first i tried to improve the form like you guys told me and i have to say it felt kind of more difficult, maybe i'm not used to it or maybe the 20kg extra were just to much right now i dunno, i'm gonna try to improve this
hope squatting again will improve this too, cause my legs felt a bit weak doing this

yes this is what came in my mind after seeing your new video,.. why didnt you try the 210 kg first!!.. 20 kg one time is not an easy thing especially when it comes to DL!!..

Don't forget the gear. His face is usually redder than a cherry tomato and I'm surprised he doesn't pop on these lifts.

I thought it was great when MuscleMag listed a 900 number for contest results, before that,I`d wait months to find out who won the Olympia.

By the time I found out who won, somebody else had won it.

I`m going way back here of course.........unfortuna tely.  :(

Why do you say that you should pull every other week?
I feel 7 days is sufficient recovery time.
Spinal erectors take 10 - 14 days to fully recover , if you are squatting also it can drive you deep into overtraining mode, CNS cant take it for to long - even on gear..

Ironneck I appoligize if this has been dealt with in the past pages.

BUT! Your style of deadlifting is horrible, mate. your starting position is wrong, your "explode so the arms rip off of your body staying attached to the bar" way of lifting it off the ground is just wrong man.

firm positioning, ass DOWN! head UP!

Other than that, atleast you had the courage to try it ;D

I agree. when I deadlifted my heavyest weights I cycled my deadlifting. maximun 2 weeks but then no deadlifting for atleast one training session. When you squat and do cardio you will never recover enough doing deadlift every single week. And even if not doing cardio.

And fuck that deadlift shit, only adds size in the wrong places (hips, waist, butt). When you're on Test anyway you don't need those basic exercises crap. ;D

Actually his ass is probably too low. If he rounded his upper back a bit more and used less legs he probably could get it. Quite easily. He's pretty much doing a squat which is super hard to do when the weight is on the ground and not across your shoulders.

I think his issue is more of a form issue then a strength issue since he did get it off of the ground. Now I cant see it from the side but it also looks like his body is in front of the bar. Which also is hurting him a bit.

theres no one "right" way to pull deadlifts, Louie Simmons even said "the best deadlifters ive seen had the worst "form", look at a guy like Vince Anello, he pulled 800 at 198 almost completely stiff legged, Poundstones "form" is fine for his body.

theres really not much wrong with your form, if you feel comfortable with the way youre pulling and it doesnt strain your back keep pulling that way, try experimenting with squatting down more and driving your feet into the floor more, the way you will know if it works for you is if you instantly add lbs. to your lift, they way you pull i'd suggest using squats, stiff legged deads and deficit pulls as accessory work.

That's true, Bob Peoples, Don Cudny, Doyle Kenady, Kuc, Cole, Frenn, Konstantin Konstantinovs, Eisman, Terry Todd,  Bill Kazmaier, Lamar Gant,  Jouko Ahola, Bill Gaynor, etc...... all had different Deadlifting styles than the accepted norm(especially roundbacking), and all pulled bigger numbers.

Try to learn accepted form, but at the end of the day, use what feels best.
