All of these bbers who keep moving to Venice to be the next big thing should look at this.
There were only three California dudes that made it big in the modern era---Flex, Chris Cormier, and Shawn Ray (one could add Paul, but he moved from Canada to Cali)

what this means is that the assumption that one must move to Cali for bbing opportunities is a flawed one...
It has always been said that next Mr. O was going to be from some gut who comes out of the woodwork. Well, of course Phil was being groomed, but he's based out of Denver...

So, all these bbers moving to Cali, save your money (and get a job) and stop moving to Cali, unless you like the G4P scene.
