I thought his arguments were pretty weak.  There's a big difference in communication and the speed and volume of exchanging of ideas in today's age versus 800-1100 AD.  further more, regardless of how advanced we get there will always be religious fundamentals.  That doesn't mean science will go backwards.

Tyson is a Richard Dawkins wanna be.  I do like Tyson chicken though.   :)
