IT IS NOT SO MUCH WEIGHT.

IT'S HOW YOU CARRY THE WEIGHT MEANING BONE STRUCTURE(THIN OR THICK, WIDE OR NARROW WAIST, WIDE OR NARROW CLAVICLES), WHERE YOU HOLD THE MUSCLE(SHOULDERS, TRAPS, UPPER BACK, OR CHEST, ARMS) AND THEN FINALLY HOW MUCH CONDITIONED SIZE THERE IS.

NO SET "WEIGHT". A 5'10, 5'11 GUY WITH WIDE CLAVICLES, NARROW WAIST AND STORES WEIGHT ON HIS SHOULDERS AND ARMS THE EASIEST WILL BE A BETTER BODYBUILDER THAN MOST.

there is no way the average gym rat is getting to that size without mega dosing gh, tren and insulin and why risk your health if you are not trying to get a pro card.

You are right but bodybuilders are obsessed with the scale, if he looks big but the scale says 200lbs he is not going to be happy.

exactly, weight means fuck all. Bone structure can throw off weight widely, that's why 250 6% 220 10% etcetc is a stupid estimate of how big you are. Measurements of lean muscle are much more accurate

280 # in good condition is massive on an average height

height is part of the equation ... shorter men can look big but can go too far and end up looking deformed

tall men have a harder journey trying to build size in proportion and look "built" .. especially if they want to be purely natural

some guys just lift a dumb-bell and call themselves a BBer  ::)

lean is not big .. and too often the lean physique is strived for and men end up looking like thin swimmers .. not men who pick up heavy things as part of their conditioning

being big is having the look of muscles on top of muscles .. not some large tendons stretched over bones

I depends on height.  Over the years I've had a little muscle boys try to get with me.  If they are 5'7" or 5'8" and in the 190lbs range, I tell them to come back when they are 210lbs and above (two did).  I don't like dudes under 210lbs. 220-280# is my preferred range depending on height and conditioning.

I am 5'10" and 232, train almost everyday.  Big is when you meet someone and all they do is talk about training, exercise, diet, and how big you are.

Big is relative, I don't think I am big when I go see a professional bodybuilding competition.

With advances in modern bodybuilding set/rep schemes if you aren't at least as big as Arnold you probably are just a genetic invalid.
