If your dad is M.J why go into basketball? ??? I guess he didn't have his father's talent or drive.

His sons are like 6'2" and marginal at basketball, should have married a better stock.
-
Actually his other son leads the team in scoring I guess but it's Central Florida, Tbombz could probably average 10 PPG.
-
its like if Babe Ruth had a son and he went into baseball, how can you ever live up to the original?
-
should have never started...how can they ever live up to their dad?
-
MJ should have taken his son under his wing a decade ago and made him play golf 24/7

I thought he was going to take up motorcycle racing...
Anyways, What made Jordan great was he internalized everything, and be wanted to prove everyone wrong...he was talented, but icewater ran thru his veins...if it took kidnapping your kids and having the person call you in the 4th quarter, just to shake your concentration, he'd do it.

Normally I think Bill Simmons is an insufferable douchebag but he had a great quote about Jordan a few months ago:
"(Michael Jordan) deliberately sought out rivals, beat them and broke their will as he did it. The mere process of winning was never quite enough for him. He wanted to collect heads."

Another thing that made Jordan truly great was he had a ton of natural talent AND he had an exceptional work ethic to boot , very easy to get complacent when it comes so easy , ask Flex Wheeler.

Jeff Jordan’s younger brother, Marcus Jordan, remains a member of the basketball team and is the Knights’ leading scorer.
The older one *should* quit.
He doesn't need the money, but hopefully he'll be in a better position to complete his degree.

Have you one dimensional turds ever considered the enjoyment of playing the sport as a factor?
Yeesh.

Maybe Kobe should read that quote over and over again...have it memorized...tattoo it on himself, listen to it...
My bad, his wife did this already, "I will break your will. I will collect your head."

Offspring, because of the way the dna split and the environment during their upbringing, many times will not have the same skill sets as the father...
