i know shawn placed 2nd in 94 and 96, but his best shape was in 93 when he placed third and he wasnt gonna win that year,even his only argument that year was that he should have been 2nd.

They don't give Olympia titles out just because someone has a great physique.

I have always said that Shawn was robbed of an Olympia.......the judges hated his arrogance and everyone was jealous of his bragging and Weider contract....although competing once a year didn't help him much

Excellent arms - he got quite freaky at the end of his career.

Should have won in 94 without a doubt.
1996 was also a very close call but Yates was shredded that year.
Shame he wasn't 3 inches taller and 30-40lbs heavier with the same shape, conditioning, and muscle bellies - would have been unstoppable.

I saw Shawn in his last contest....the 2001 Olympia....he looked amazing!..I had him in third, but I was rooting for him to win it.....he took fourth....but he looked really good that day
