basically. like i said if the kid passes it wasnt meant to be. Also death by this method is about 65 deaths a year in this country. Not a very large number to be really relevant. I know it sounds cold, but not sure what other way to say it.

I think the original question concerned the images depicted in the ads, but has since shifted to actual accidental infant fatalities.
The ads don't bother me.
Careless parents who ignore the warning signs of a preventable occurrence do bother me.
But, I agree with Migs in the sense that people die everyday.
It's unfortunate any way you look at it, but it's a fact.
You can help the world, but you can't save everyone in it.

I did not find the ads disturbing, but apparently enough people were enraged that the ads were pulled ::) It was an ad campaign put out by the Milwaukee Health Department after something like 18 deaths over a 12 month period occurred. I think 3 since Christmas alone.

If you want more out of life, then take the initiative to reach greater heights.
Pissing & complaining about the people who have more than you will NOT improve your circumstances.
Granted, not everyone can become CEO's of billion-dollar companies, but REALISTICALLY, everybody can better their lives somehow - and often in more ways than one.
Demonstrate & protest if you want, but don't make that the only thing you do.
Simply whining will not improve any aspect of your life at all.
I think a lot of people fail to "climb" because they either don't know how, or they don't want to put in the work.
It's a combination of working hard AND working smart, and both require a great deal of effort.
