I never understood why people think that a retired pro/bodybuilder should look just like he did when he competed at his best.

Ronnie still has some muscle and is in his 40`s and retired.

I don`t like to see him guest posing but I doubt if he cares about my thoughts on this.  :)

I wonder if Sergio is still huge and ripped ???

sergio is not huge, but like every single other mr. O, he is still alive. and this alone is amazing, since the contest is almost 50 years running.

Very true my friend......especially how people used to say and still do that all the juice they were on would kill them at a young age.

yup, juice will kill you, and the bigger you are the more you take.

by that rational, mr. Olympia being the best used the most drugs of anyone in their era, and they should all be dead. so something must be wrong with that theory.

The wrong thing about that theory is that it`s full of shit.  ;D

Sergio has some health issues. He was mugged last year and someone stole his expensive gold and watch I think.

Ronnie was the  ebony mountain of muscle (I forget the right term) for many people in this forum so I am not surprised the old man still commands respect even in this  -most disrespectful- forum of all.

OK he was also a hard core bber who deserves respect for that- so I obviously didnt expect him to be treated like Derrick, when I posted the "This guy claims to be XXX. Do you believe him???" thread

However ronnie is essentially being as dishonest as Derrick , with all this BS about coming back for the last "decade", supplement line, posing totally out of shape, etc so I think he deserves a little heat because while if i was him i would also be trying to squeeze as much money from my career as possible-  understandable- it does not make it right

he had the opportunity to save enough money to walk into the sunset, head up high, but seems not to have taken it
