he didn't know if the fan had a gun or blade or anything else. If he has a chance to take him down before he gets to the other players, his hands are empty and you can take him, you take him down every time.

what would have happened if the player had gotten out of the way, the nutjob had run 20 more feet, pulled a glock from waistband and started shooting players? He would have regretted not doing something for the rest of his life.

take him down, every time.
