My favourite scene is at that motel where he's sitting on the table drinking, then he remembers his brother getting killed, he starts whining and banging his hands on the table, harder and harder until he breaks it or something

keitel was perfect for such scenes, he was in another awesome movie where he played a very tormented, thoroughly despicable character, who finds redemption before his death

Bring Me The Head of Alfredo Garcia-

.

Followed so closely by Jimmy Caan's Thief-

.

Just edges it out.
Thief is great as is The Gambler ,also starring Caan.

I have, didn't like it

There are some films that the producers just decided to throw a bunch of stars together, slap on a story, an action movie director, and hope for the best, that is, a nice return for the studio

I can't get over your avatar ;)

I watched a movie a long time ago when I was like 10 years old with my dad. It's a normal human being and alien and they have to survive together. The alien ends up being pregnant even though he's a male and dies after birth and the human raises the alien baby. Kind of weird but I just remember bits and pieces of it good movie.

Lots of recent movies, most won't be remembered 10 years from now.

A couple favorite classics.

The African Queen.
The breakfast club.

Something about the breakfast club that just draws my attention.

Stupid question from the OP.  Picking a favorite movie is difficult because different movies draw different emotions from you.  Ones that hit you straight to the heart.  Others that make you laugh like you've never laughed before, or ones that just suck you in bringing back a flood of memories or ones that make you laugh and smile.  How do you pick just one?

Yeah man, almost makes him more legendary with big gaps between his films.  His movies are incredible.  I remember watching full metal when I was a kid.  When that "picked on" soldier by other turned into a fucking lunatic... man did that ever hit home, scared the hell outta me and never wanted to join the military!

As far as a romantic film that will still appeal to men (due to the erotic parts), 9 and 1/2 Weeks is very under rated.
