Ravens +9

Giants +2.5  (though I did take Giants to win at +126, I think it was)

Still a LONG way to go, though.  I already cashed on first score being a FG and I've got the same prop going in the next game.

I don't have a spread, but at this moment, NE is down to -136 on the money line.  I'm not going to jump on that at this time, but I think it's a good bet.

No catch in real time or slow-mo.

I thought they should've at least tried the 50-yarder earlier, but I understood going for it in that position.  The real head-scratcher came at the end when they didn't use their timeout to settle everyone down.  In that case, I think the right thing to do would've been to use the timeout and crack a joke instead of rushing out there and trying to beat the play clock on a kick you HAVE to have.

Why was Evans trying to turn around anyway? The ball was in his mitts. All he has to do is HOLD ON TO IT and the Ravens get the TD and likely the win.

He and Cundiff better head for witness protection.

Shannon Sharpe nailed it. Evans relaxes, once the ball hits his mits. Again, there's no need for him to turn on that play. All he had to do is hold on to the ball FOR DEAR LIFE. His feet would have been down.

10-7 at halftime.. pretty good considering all the bullshit mistakes frisco's made so far.. even with the mistakes, if alex would have made the smart throws instead of constantly trying to make great plays wed probably have 21 points on the board.  some minor improvements on offense, and the defense starts playing like they usually do (need to cover cruz better for sure) and the second half will be lop sided.

Yes I did. And the Groink floater that should have been a first down in the 2nd quarter should have been red flagged by the Pats. That catch wasn't out of bounds and should would have changed the game. Sad that broadcasters where so pro Ravens that they didn't look at that pass. Boomer exposed them though at half time.

Bottom line is that the patriots won with Brady playing like shit.  He even admitted it during the trophy presentation.  A Giants vs. Pats superbowl would probably be a shootout because neither defense would be able to stop anyone.  I think The Pats would beat the 49ers fairly easily.

Agreed. The Ravens are fucking badass for sure. But today they kept it close because of Brady and bad play calling and non throwing of the flag when Groink caught a pass for a first down. Bill B. should be firing some people after not letting him know that was a catch. I was 7 beers deep and saw on the first and basically only replay(fix was in) that Groink had both feet in.

Please---like the illegal contact wasn't a bunk call...
Brady played his game, it's just that teams like the Ravens have his number...
Easy to read, easy to pick off.
You could tell it by his emotional spiking of the ball, Brady should thank C untliff for missing. Because had it went into overtime, I think Ravens would have had an upset.

Looks like the ball glances off the knee, but I'm not sure there's enough to overturn the original call.

Oops, I stand corrected.  The shot from behind actually shows a clear change of trajectory as it's clipped.

Guys, the 49ers are still very much in this game.  I'm riding the Giants, but don't give up yet.

That was a huge stick on 1st down just now.

I don't see NY attempting a 50-yarder, so figure they've still gotta travel another 20-22 yards before Coughlin will send his idiot kicker out.

I don't even blame the punt returner.   If you give Eli 153 chances, he will beat you.

no. fuck that. williams was a complete fucking moron tonight. he single handedly lost the game for us.

Agreed. There was probably too much chicken grease on his fingers- I blame the cook.

Pathetic Superbowl....I only hope the patriots win because i had $5 saying that the pats were going to the bowl, and another $5 that they win.  Easy money.

if the niners had a really good QB and a game breaking WR, they would be VERY dangerous

if Ginn was in the game tonight we would have won by 14 or more. One of, if not the best return guy in the league, wouldnt have fumbled the ball in over time, wouldnt have gave up that punt in the fourth quarter, probably would have returned one for a TD at some point in the game. and his presence on the field on offense spreads out the defense and gives gore, davis, and crabtree more chances to get yards.

Agreed. But all they had to do was- Gore sweep left, Gore sweep right, Gore up the middle.

stop dude. if if if. none of that shit matters. you guys played gritty, tough, smashmouth football. you should be happy with how much harbaugh turned your team around. expect big things from them next year. they are only going to get better.

i am happy, but homeboy above me said we needed a dif quarterback and a new wide reciever, nope, all we needed was our boy ginn on the field.

i didnt say you couldnt win with what you had...all i said is imagine how much better you would be with a above average QB and a game breaking WR

and if you think alex smith is above average and that crabtree is a "game breaker" then i have a bridge to sell you

i just watched the forty niners mediocore offense play a shitty game and they scored 17 points while converting one third down and i think 2 completions to wide recievers. they obviously have some weak points.

some teams match up better than others..

Giants Run defense is putrid...there entire Defense is predicted from the front 4 . The pats throw most of the time which means that gives the front 4 plenty of chances to sack and hit brady

conversely the niners run the ball way more than the pats do which hurts the giants and doesnt allow for the front 4 to get at Asmith

The superbowl will probably be a shootout.  There is no way the Giants linebackers and secondary will be able to cover Gronkowski, Hernandez, Welker, and Branch.  The same can be said for the Patriot's d and Nix, Cruz, Manningham etc....   It will com down to the Patriots o-line vs. the Giants D-line and turnovers.  Remember, the Patriots didn't have the two-headed monster at tight end in 07.

Brady indoors on a fast track after having a shitty game is going to be record breaking.

Refs kept the flags in their pockets all game. But when Welker basically gets clotheslined like a WWE move, they have to call it. Basically a no brain er.

I'll agree that the NFL is loving this matchup for sure.  Both teams have huge fanbases, and they are rich in storylines.  The NFL is not fixed G-Thong.  You should realize how impossible it would be to fake every game until the two teams you wanted were in the SuperBowl. ::)
