Been using this for 8 years on and off. Can't imagine how broke I would be if I didn't use it to replace food at certain times of the day. lol at idiots who think they are better off eating 100% solid food instead of mixing whey protein in there

Needlessly expensive.

The protein I buy has more or less the same nutritional profile but costs 40% less. Flavoured.

if you ever find whey on sale mind sending me a pm about it? i occasionally use for sake of convenience because cooking "flesh-protein" and then washing dishes is such a time consuming activity.

Shut up please..This is shitty protein, always bloated me and  ruined my lines.Good food is not cheap though, good AAS and HGH are not cheap either. You want QUALITY you have to pay MONEY.

Egg whites or steak is ten times better than this shit you promote. And this is not even good protein, isolate with no flavor seemed decent to me compared to this shit.  :-X

Chemically processed and man-made = not meant for human body.. I used to use it all the time too  :'(

Now liquid eggwhites only  ;D

Plus, it's dairy.. dairy is absolutely terrible for you

You might just be intolerant to it, no need to tell him to shut up. I personally never felt bloated with whey protein. Actually I always end up feeling bloated whenever I eat steak/eggs so you see this is different to everyone.

I get my protein straight from the manufacturer so I get 25lbs/50lbs for $300 max. which is a REALLY good deal and it is so convenient (which is why I prefer powder to real food).

I get about half my protein from powders. I don't get bloaty or shitty looking
from it, and it is far cheaper than any other form of protein where I am at.
I crunched all the numbers for price per gram on chicken, eggs, liquid whites,
and powders...... and powders beat everything. I buy in bulk to to get it down to
$9 a lb though. There is much cheaper powder out there than the $9 stuff I am getting,
but this particular mix tastes good, works good, and is convenient for me, so that is what
I go with.
I still use whites and whole eggs, as well as raw milk, but price wise, nothing beats
powders for me. I will continue to use a variety of protein sources, but price is always
going to be a vital factor considering I can buy GH for about $1 per iu.

i laugh at people who dont count proteins in their carbohydrate sources even tho they are eating them with animal protein

my point was that it's very unlikely to not get enough protein

so buying protein supplements is retarded even if they weren't shit but actually were what they are advertised to be (which they arent)

If we're talking about what's cheap, then truenutrition.com (DoggCrapp's biz) has a cheap whey protein product. 25lbs for $160, so $6.40/lb.  it's higher quality whey than some of the cheaper stuff on the market

had a long hiatus from working out, so dropped protein intake in the form of shakes completely. Now I'm getting back into working out and I don't think I will return to it  :-\

What exactly is the benefit of that extra protein? A 2% increase in muscle mass? And tell me why that matters?

I'm glad I had the lifting hiatus cuz it put some things into perspective... I've cut my lifting time down to half, and included more cardio. Unless it REALLY REALLY is your hobby to have a muscular physique, I see NO other reason other than competitive bodybuilding for putting that much time into this activity. It's not going to get your more girls... and you're not going to compete. So why try to get bigger? If its not vanity or a waste of time, then what is it?
