Title: WTH, Toyota Dealership has a 2008 BMW M3 listed as 2008 328i!
Post by: Parker on February 05, 2012, 10:40:29 AM
This morning I went by a Toyota dealership in Annapolis that has a 2008 Interlagos Blue M3. They have had it for about 2 weeks or so, and haven't had it on their website. Well they finally put the what they wanted on it, get this The paperwork on the window lists it as a 2008 328i, it also lists the wrong engine, stating that it has a 3 liter inline 6, when the M3 has a 4.0 liter V8. They list the wrong VIN #, wrong interior color, wrong exterior color (well, the wrong blue color). And they want about 19,000 for it !!!!!

No, I don't have a pic, but damn, it says M3 right on the damn car, and you can't miss the VIN number... And of course it looks, and is a M3, you can't miss, it. I mean WTH, how can you NOT catch that?!

True GetBiggers own car dealerships as tax write-offs; they don't patronize them.

Scamming is running rampant in every area of business these days.

No, this is a legit M#, all BMW's from M Motorsports have VIN numbers that begin with "WBS", which this does (it denotes being from the M Motorsports plant), but listed on the window in black and white is the VIN# beginning with "WBA" which means BMW AG plant.

They should know it if they popped the hood...

Another clue is that it is not pictured on their website

Wrong color listed---it is interlagos blue (odd as i was coming from looking at the car, another M3 passed me)
this is what the car looked like (this is not the car that was on the lot, but it is a 2008 Interlagos Blue M3)

I doubt that they would sell it for that...recently there as a dealer that had a 2008 Bentley Gt Conv on Ebay listed for $13,900, and so a buy bought it for such, come to find out, the dealer forgot a zero, the deal was null and voided and taken off of Ebay promptly...

This dealership, could just say that they made a huge mistake...I am inquiring about today...
