Title: Super Bowl commercials
Post by: Tre on February 06, 2012, 04:42:16 AM

My favorite was Budweiser's 'end of Prohibition'.

The funniest was the dog that killed the cat and then bought the guy's silence with Doritos.

Gotta go with the Acura NSX with Seinfeld being my fave/funniest.  Then the vampire Audi....then the dog doritos.  There were some LAME ones...just like the first half of that pre-season game.

they could have just shown a picture of the NSX with a caption like "you will need permission from cardiologist first".

In general the commercials were lame and I tried to avoid them as much as humanly possible.

Hell yeah, most of them were lame as all get out. Pathetic, it shows that their marketing depts or marketing companies that they hire lack imagination, unless thet "push the envelope"...
That's the problem with today---always trying to go with shock and awe, leaves little for imaginationand creativity.
