Because they are apparently making a Infiniti version---it has to be an Infiniti---as that is the lux RWD/AWD...
Look to the Infiniti Essence Concept car, AWD, hybrid I believe or would have the GT-R's drivetrain.
The Maxima is FWD, diff market

yea whatever fella...the juke is a different market too. yet they still messed about and shoved the gtr powerplant in there for fun. i want a straight up Nissan gtr 4 door. cmon that would sell up and down and all day long. start at 80 K then work the way up to 95 like they did with the gtr. tada. instant legend

The Juke-R will probably never be produced in mass numbers ever. The top brass didn't even want it built. It is faster than the GT-R, due to it's lighter weight...
A four door GT-R would be over 100K, and would be badges an Infiniti. Due to Nissan having no case for a Nissan badged 4 door...the GT-R is their halo car...
Infiniti is their upmarket brand. And they still haven't really penetrated the mid-size lux class---5 Series, E Class, Lexus GS, Audi A6, Cadillac CTS. Infiniti has the M37/and V8 variant...
So the 4 door GT-R would be a M-R (fantasy name). They have no real business case, and the Japanese are notorious for making a business case for a product.

If I had the budget, I would prefer an Aston Martin DBS over this Maserati, though both are beautiful cars.
