Maybe that when I drove home my first ever car at 18 yo. I was so happy, I think I've never been sincerely so full of joy after that ;D
Sounds secular - and that it is... but I have no kids yet and I think when I have in future, they will bring the best moments of my life. No homo.

- seeing colour TV for the first time (this is Holland, not US)
- first girlfriend of course
- being the victor in a conflict with my boss.... ;D
- first year of college, and the summer holiday to France in the following summer..... ;D

Graduated in 'industrial management'. Now as I have stated earlier takin' courses on political history though... to support my possible ambitions in politics later in life :D

Ran a kickoff back against and all black team in highschool. Took it like 99 yards. I did the tebow kneel thing after in the endzone. This was a like 10-11 years ago. That was pretty epic.

Organized a show(bands), back when I was 16, solds out a place, had what was one of the best shows of high school(as referenced by others) the only time my band was really accepted by peers. It was pretty euphoric, I remember days later still being on a high, better than pretty much anything else I've ever experienced.

I ran for over 350 against an all white team in highschool. I shook my head everytime in the endzone. This was like 19 years ago. It was expected.

Finishing my dissertation and getting a nod of approval of my advisor was pretty special. He was/is a brilliant man with the highest of standards. After deliberating over my defense with the committee, he finally walked into the room where I was waiting and, with his best poker face, said "Congratulations doctor" before cracking a smile. That was many years ago, but the sheer intellectual satisfaction of being welcomed as colleague into the company of men and women I originally encountered as teachers still resonates as the best moment of my life. 8)

dont know about best moment but as for the most memorable experience? when I was 16 or so we had a place on the hotel where you could rent jet-skyies in mexico...but the rule was you had to stay within the boundaries. My friend and I said fuck it and we took the jet skies to another island, 50 miles out. We just kept going and going and going into the neverending water. Couldn't see land AT ALL. We stopped eventually, just to sit for a bit and saw a shark, had to be at least 15 feet. HOLY SHIT. A monster in it's true form it almost didn't see real. We got the fuck out of there. But those few moments of freedom I felt during that ride out to the ocean in the sunny weather not knowing what was gonna happen was something I will never forget. Although it was quite stupid now that I look back at it we could of died, and got in pretty big trouble my dad had to pay off the police I think

Good post. I had a similar feeling when I got my license. Going out by myself for the first time was such a feeling of freedom.
A buddy of mine had jet skis. We use to get real close to the part fishing boats and circle around them. They would yell shit at us.
