Title: How Much Did Valentines Day Cost Getbiggers
Post by: deadz on February 14, 2012, 03:11:46 PM
Lets hear it?

I did Valentines Day dinner on Sunday with my wife to beat the Tuesday crowd, cost $120.
Spa service at the Red Door spa, cost $150.

Reasonable i'd say. I am sure all the muti-millionaires on Getbig with perfect 10 wives and girlfriends laugh at a measely $270. Lets here it studs?  ::)

Both my wife and I were soooooo busy we didn't really have a chance to go out or do anything special... said we'll make it up on the weekend... but I did have time to go train legs at like 9 pm  ;D and then stopped on the way home and bought some roses, chocolates, a magazine she wanted, and a big ass card (like half the size of me), she won't see them until she wakes up tomorrow morning though!

I got paid $85 to be the doorman of a local bar from 9pm-2am. A girl I've been hanging with came and brought me candy and a card. First vday in 3 years that I have been single and I'm ok with the result.

Hopefully not to that child porn you "accidentally" downloaded   ::)

For the record, he was busted for giving it to others, not looking for it, the article says he simply had a massive porn collection and that was part of it.

I remember when I was 14-13(the late 90's) having kiddy porn on my comp. I didnt search it out nor did I watch it, it just came from a bunch of porno galleries I downloaded.

1. Cards $10
2. Flowers $40
3. Dinner $30
4. Candy $10

This is just what I spent on Valentine's Day. My wife also bought cards, flowers and candy. Since we have a joint account it's all both our money. Dinner was cheap because my wife requested Chinese food which tends to be fairly inexpensive. All considered, we probably kept the cost of Valentine's Day to under $200 which isn't too bad really.

flowers are a waste of fucking money..i think i only bought flowers once, and that was for mothers day for my mom... it pisses me off how the flower industry makes a killing off of something not so practical... at least cards last forever, flowers probably last a week and then you gotta toss it out

Most all holidays are driven by merchants making people feel guilty if they dont buy something for someone all they are doing is trying to boost sales.

Agreed

With my ex, everytime I bought her flower, she looked at it at a way of saying "i'm sorry"
so her (and her asshole parents), associated flowers with me having done something bad
needless to say, I stopped buying her flower, or anything else for that matter as she was an ungratefull bitch

My current gf, loves getting flowers and shits like that and she really seems to enjoy it every single time, so that makes me want to buy some more often

I know it's useless, but if that makes her happy... it's just a bit of money out of my pocket for all I care

About $400... My girl genuinely likes flowers (she'll actually buy them for herself from time to time), so I bought her a dozen roses and an orchid (her favorite).  We got sushi delivery and had a relaxing evening at her place.

I enjoyed it as did she.

Does this have anything to do with why you are not married to her now? Hmm?
