Just wondering who is the strongest man you know? Not talking in the gym, anyone, a friends father, your grampa, a farmer (which the old guys were strong, all that manual labour!)
-
the father of my wife, never touched a weight, worked in a slaughterhouse all his life: in his prime could lift a 110 kg pig and hang it on the hook like nothing.
Guy has hands Kaz's style lolz

theres an 80 something year old at my gym who curls with 45s for sets. back in the day he could squat over 1000 and do a one arm press with 245.
he's totally clueless on how to use the machines too.

My father worked on the railroad and he had some interesting stories of strength. Men carrying 4 foot pieces of track, (which weighs 100lb a foot), and lifting buckets of spikes two at a time up on a car deck, these weighed 100lb a bucket.
-
My dad SOB was a brute huge muscular and strong never touched a weight in his life. He told me stories of carrying 100lb sacks of fertilizer in each arm for like 2 miles and never let them down. Genes rule.

I remember years ago when I lived in Florida,I installed and refurbished hurricane shutters for a living.
One day on the job while taking down old wrought iron railings off of a balcony,I had a helluva` time removing some long screws from the concrete floor with a drill..........couldn`t remove the last 4 or 5.......my boss came over and unscrewed them by hand with his index finger and thumb.
Dude was big, with huge hands and sick forearms.

;D an old guy used to flip 660 lb barrels by the hundreds for hours every day it was part of his job, never thought it was that big a deal
-
the foreman at my old job never lifted a weight in his life yet was amazingly strong had a 50 inch chest and 18 inch arms but also a massive gut and was not lean,he could do reps on the overhead press with one of those old 110lbs bags of cement in each hand (these had to be placed on his hands and balanced before he would press), deadlift the back of a car and lift almost any large awkward shaped stone that was mad in the place.
bloke wasnt very intelligent tho

I know a guy that struggled to bench 225, I remember spotting him for a double and on the third rep had to help him, anyway not a single person could ever beat him in an arm wrestle he arm wrestled all the powerlifters around here, a few 500 pound benchers and no one could even budge him including me and he can also throw a football almost the full length of a football field, I guess that doesn't make him strong but very weird guy
-
Seems to be many of those guys, can't lift a 100lb dumbell but can pick up an engine block
-
Outed.
Chaos is the strongest person I know
-
a guy I know had a strongman build, huge f'er, rep out 405 bench like nothing, 365 behind the next press for reps. he was a plumber and would carry new bathtubs up multiple stories all on his own. these were huge custom home fancy tubs too. just rediculous.
