I am going to buy a treadmill but wanted to get an opinion on what a good treadmill is that is sturdy and has a big enough motor. I do not need all of the gadgets that come on the higher priced models since that marks up the price. Just want something that will last a long time and stay reliable. There is one at sports authority that was $2499 and it's on sale till Saturday for $899. Gonna look at it tomorrow.

$2500 is a lot for a home treadmill I think, unless it's "refurbished" or something, that sounds like a pretty good deal.

Thats what I was thinking. My wife saw it but I am at work now. Of course she didn't get the model#. ::)
I am guessing it has Ifit but to me that is secondary.
I thought about going on craigslist but I run the risk of buying someones problems.

Battling ropes - 100.00
1 44lb kettlebell - about $50.00
1 prowler - 350.00 or just push a truck - nothing.
You figure out the savings. Get stronger, burn more fat with better conditioning for $500 or less.

But a treadmill makes your home gym look legit. Kettlebells just junk up a joint.

My wife isn't going to do that shit. It's for her to use for 2 weeks until we start hanging jackets on it. ;D

Spend the money and get a precor. I have a nordictrack it cost a little over a grand. And it sucks big ones. It is better to run around the block. I only use it when it is really late or I feel like running wearing just compression shorts.
