Title: from what weight does it get more practical adding weight instead of reps?

i'm thinking maybe my military is so bad i shouldnt add weight and go for the same reps but keep weight the same and increase reps?

Add weight - little by little.
Huge increments will hurt your morale and your shoulders.

is 2.5kg too big of a step (so 1.25kg plates each side)?

i have 0.5kg plates too, should i then use 1kg increases?

General rule of thumb is 5# for small muscles - 10# for large muscles.

That might be girl rules though.  I don't recall  :P
