i'm scared it opens the door for organized religion to have greater influence in govt.

that includes other religions, 33 - and you know that.

So 'what's the worst that could happen by overturning separation of power and state' is fine... until obama wins re-election and decides to allow a muslim group to initial sharia law in largely muslim population areas because "there should be more of an intertwining of government and religion".

Reminds me of everyone saying it was cool Cheney had so much unsupervised power, then being mad when obama uses it.

Ask me in a manner that doesn't make me feel like I am talking to an autistic ten year old having a tantrum and I will answer.

Both obama and santorum are completely wrong.  The muslim faith and christianty - NEITHER have any place in lawmaking.  The moment you open the door for ONE of them to have influence, the other gets in.

just keep the religion the hell out of things.  Quit sucking up to the crazy religious base, mr santorum.

I didn't say he did.  I didn't even bring up Obama.  You did.   I said that prayers were not answered.  God didn't do shit.  Man did.

You try to make everything about Obama don't you?  hahaha  He owns that little fractured brain of yours.

Continue spending - big.
Push highly religious, highly conservative agenda.
Continue Washington cronyism.
Reinstitute good-ole-boy system via NSPS.
Continue involvement in Afghanistan.
Extend and Expand the Patriot Act.

Thought of some more:

Federalizing marriage.
No child left behind.
Loss of fundamental privacy.
Supreme Court appointees who would endorse his nutiness.

I agree...

Ron Paul would be the best pick, but none of the fucking Republican machine will let him win.

NEVER.

I'm scared that he would pave the path for someone much worse than himself or Obama to take power in the future.

this lol:

"Now I am the last person to condemn a person for what they do in bed or in their basement. The members of Opus Dei are all consenting adults and if they want to flagellate themselves for Jesus that is their business. But they don't get to lecture the rest of us on sexual morality, nor does the church that sanctions this organization, nor does Rick Santorum.

In George Orwell's 1984, Julia sums up the party: "All this marching up and down and cheering and waving flags is simpIy sex gone sour." The same can be said of the Catholic church."
