I think Ronnie should of won this contest, but there was no way they were going to give it to him after Jay winning the Mr. O.

That's the way Ronnie should of been hitting the side chest through out his career. Looks amazing.

I've heard via the web from people that were there that the crowd was clearly thinking
Coleman should have won.
Some more pics from the show.
I've heard Ronnie's lat spread wasn't too good and that he would
have been better off standing relaxed like in the 1st pic and putting
his hands on his sides like a lat spread.
Much drier than the O that year.

You're right, he was way drier here than at the Mr. O. He couldn't fully hit the rear latspread and probably should of done what you said above.

Found some more at MD.
Man, the dude was huge and although he
was losing some of that young looking clean muscle
he was gaining some of that knarly, grainy look some
get as they get older.

His BDB looks pretty good. Those hams are incredible.

I think the shouldīve given Ronnie that years O too...he was very good in 06 and most people would be fine of he won it...instead of making the fridge mr.o Ronnie should have 9 sandows. Looks better than Jay in the backposes even if he misses one side...Look at Jay...what a mess...yuck! His one leg imbalance looks worse than colemans back problem for sure. In 07 coleman was way way of...but not this year...sorry i need to throw up i can feel the fridge smell  :-X

Base on videos & pics, Ronnie Coleman should be the winner in 2006,no matter M.O or other pro contests.

Ronnie looked like Jay looks now... Old and tired with things starting to look weird (one lat way smaller on Ronnie and one leg way smaller on Jay now compared to then).

Ronnie and Chad blew it. Prejudging was the main
part of the judging in 2006 and Ronnie was holding
way too much water. He looked like Mr. Olympia by
dropping 10 pounds at night but the damage had been done.

ALSO: I think the lighting didn't favor a darker skinned athlete.
If you watch the bb.com webcast Ronnie's glutes show almost
no striations but if you watch this one it's clear that he was
more conditioned than the bb.com video shows.

I kinda get freaked out from watching pics of coleman in 06...he really shows a massive, grainy type of physque here. Ok that he getīs marked down for his tears, but the muscle/defintion/water looks excellent...there might be something iīm missing but itīs not rocket science...he shouldīve won this year!

Agreed.  I thought Ronnie just edged it out in '06.  He might've lost one Euro tour show to Jay, but even that's pushing it.

I'm not a Ronnie fan but the guy wa sin a different league then Cutler. Event with the tears and the so-so conditioning, he still deserved the 'O more than Cutler. Fact is he didn't show up in good enough shape to earn a 9th Sandow. He lost againt the record not Cutler.

I'm not sure how Ronnie lost this show.
He was hard, conditioned and huge.
Still think he deserved to win the 2006 Olympia.
It's true he came in too watery at pre-judging and dropped 10 pounds for the night show.
He looked like Mr O at the finals.

Both look disastrous. Wide waists, XXL glutes, bloated guts, literally everything is out of proportion. Chemical excess.

Yeah, Ronnie looks better in this show than the Olympia.  He's fucking massive. But its the same story either way. Ronnie's flaws lost him the show. The left/right imbalance was too much I guess. It was really noticeable from the back. From the front, it was only obvious in the legs, which were so huge it didn't seem as bad as the difference from the back. Ronnie should've gotten this O and definitely these grand prix shows. Jay was so blocky. His waist was so wide. It looked worse than the imbalance on Ronnie.
