Title: Why the difference between Fox and CNN...
Post by: Irongrip400 on March 05, 2012, 11:02:44 AM
And why the hate for each others networks?  Seriously, I thought news was supposed to be unbiased, so why when BOTH sides are biased, do fans of these networks condem the other?  I prefer Fox news myself, and do find them to be a little less biased, but why is the media have so much of an agenda?  On a side note, someone read my Third Riech thread, so I don't have to shamelessly bump it. ;D

Fox News is the video equivalent of a Tory British Tabloid, owned by Rupert Murdoch, a Tory British Tabloid publisher.

CNN was started by a conservative Atlanta outdoor advertising company owner named Ted Turner, who sold CNN to TimeWarner.

I understand that, but you think these reporters who cling to such things as " free speech" and protecting their sources, would also follow the rule of reporting unbiased news.

Journalistic integrity died when they began becoming emotionally vested in the politicians.
Many Journalists become journalists because they want to try and show people "the way things really are", which is actually "the way things are from according to me (the journalist).

It was only a matter of time until they started taking sides, it only takes 1 source to take a side, then its a free for all. As soon as that 1st person let his personal feelings dictate the content showed to people, another opposing viewpoint is going to crop up, as another journalist is going to want to show people "the way it really is".
