Title: Much respect to KEVIN LEVRONE - one of the great bodybuilders
Post by: jakesonyou on March 07, 2012, 12:34:58 AM
Kevin Levrone is a great bodybuilder and human being.  He has some great bodybuilding accomplishments, including 2 Arnold Classic wins.  He couldn't dethrone Dorian "The GOAT" Yates but that doesn't mean he wasn't an amazing bodybuilder.  Mr Olympia runner up is definitely something to be proud of, but no one can beat the best.  He's also on the official list being Top 5 all time ever!

Levrone had a very aesthetically pleasing physique.  He was also a monster in the gym pushing some heavy weights.  His conditioning was off some years, but the Bald Levrone years were very impressive.

KL is very good to his fans.  Posting training videos on youtube, speaking with fans online and in person at shows.  He never charges and always has time to chat.

Another thing about KL is that he continues to train to this day.  Dorian "The GOAT" Yates is just the same.  These guys actually enjoy working out!  Kevin maintains a fantastic physique year around to this day!  Another amazing thing - HE HAS BARELY AGED.  His face is so young.  After the massive amounts of drugs used he looks great!  Maybe massive doses were not used and he just responded well?

I had the chance to train with Kevin 2 years at ago.  Great guy!

Respect to Kevin "Maryland Muscle Machine" Levrone  8)

You seen the dude's Twitter account lately? He's a born again Christian, or maybe he always was... but you can tell when someone's going real nutbar when they get more and more "religious".

What the dude really needs is a fridge full of GH, garbage bags full of orals, a couple oil drums of trenbologna and a liquor cabinet full of Glenlivet or Jack Daniels... I think that's what he used to drink. But that's what he needs either way, not the bible or natural training.

Unlike other bodybuilders, Kevin's way of training was different than others.  He actually gained weight while competing, spending 3 months in his 'workout training dungeon' and in the process, having a great bodybuilding run.

Too bad he was pretty much missing a back (decent RLS, but that's all). He would have done so much more damage.

Strange guy, but pretty cool too. Doesn't seem to have a problem with being smaller like some guys do. If he ever comes around here again I'll definitely go see him.

I look at his videos when I'm doing cardio at the gym to see what perfection is like; his physique never ceases to blow me away no matter how many times I've seen it.

Why because this is one physique most of us can agree on.

100% agree with Kevin's prime condition, but Jake is a rule hugger (see his other posts, regarding his pathetic "mod application")

He was an icon. Sad thing is that this golden era will never be seen again.
When i started bodybuilding he, flex, demayo, matarazzo, newman were my idols. Was never a dorian fan.
