Yeah you feel the drama in the Rocky movies (asian martial moves have bad acting), but the fight scenes aren't very technical or interesting.

I know nothing about that 1st Gen Fujita fight footage but it most likely consisted of a few weeks rehersal with the combatants, and a full week of blocking the shots with the non-rolling camera and light crew plus a fight director and choriographer. And possibly a standby medic, plus a good number of others if the union was involved.
I was involved in a fight scene shot on the Universal backlot in which a bottle broke on my head after I was sucker punched with a breakaway chair while a friend fell onto a breakaway table.
20 seconds of footage which took over 4 hours and numerous props before a wrap. That impressive fight scene shown above must have taken at least a week to shoot.
And major expense.
Thanks for posting these,

^ Based on a true story.
Frank W. Dux (pronounced "dukes") is an American martial artist and fight choreographer. Dux established his own school of Ninjutsu in 1975, called "Dux Ryu Ninjutsu". He was the inspiration for the 1988 film Bloodsport starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Dux states that he was introduced to and trained in Koga Yamabushi Ninjitsu by Senzo Tanaka.[2] Dux's martial art style, Dux Ryu Ninjitsu, is not a koryu (15th century feudal form of Ninjutsu), but is still claimed to be "based on its Koga Ninja root principles of adaptability and consistent change."[2] Frank Dux formulated the proprietary augmentation technology he calls DUX FASST (Focus-Action-Skill-Strategy-Tactics).
The accuracy of many of Dux's personal claims have been disputed, including his martial arts background, fighting in the Kumite, and prior military service. According to the Los Angeles Times, the organization that staged the Kumite had the same address as Dux's house, and the trophy he won had been bought and paid for by Frank Dux at a local trophy store. This was disputed by Dux stating that the receipt was fabricated.
