Branch looks solid all over with muscle..looks well big.

so judging may from backstage, not on-stage only.

Agreed. Branch looks better in back stage. Back stage and on stage are different story.
Me myself had same kind of experience before. I saw a guy double thcker than me and I was so desperated. But i ended up beating him easily on stage.Thats a curious aspect of Bodybuilding competition.

i was backstage after the tampa pro a few years back.   everyone just wanted to go home and eat/drink.  quiet.

david henry looks like an alien up close.  not even human.  squiggly veins all over as he accepted that 3rd place check.

I had some wierd backstage experiences when I was competing in Netherlands. Kinda like stated above. Saw guys that looked freaky hard with veins all over legs, back f.ucking everywhere. Myself is kinda veinless but onstage I looked harder and drier and my vascularity was pretty Ok too. This alien with veins looked waterlogged and got exposed in structural weaknesses and I ended up beating him. I´ve never seen myself having a good structure but waist is small and shoulders wide and this looked very good in the latsspread poses.

Thats what I am saying. So from this kind of experience, I learned that i shouldnt see others in back stage area.
