Title: How is this possible? (voter fraud?)
Post by: Bindare_Dundat on March 10, 2012, 07:26:59 AM
I dont usually post this stuff on GandO but becasue there is more traffic here, can ANYONE explain how  one person can draw crowds this large while not winning one single state, while a douchebag like Santorum draws crickets and is a challange for Romney, who also doesnt draw as many people to rallys? Why can't Paul  seem to get a break, while these pics suggest he has huge support.

I love how gullible people (mainly americans themselves) believe that game ain't dirty in USA... LOL

The candidates who would cause serious losses in power and/or money to powerful instances have no chances to win. That's for sure.
Imagine how America's only remaining industry, 'defense' industry would suffer if a man who wants to concentrate on domestic issues (which are severe) instead of bombing small, unarmed countries was elected as President !!

Political system is so corrupt and connected to too powerful non-governmental instances, that it's impossible to separate them without major overhauls, which would cost blood and tears and years of struggle.

Corporate media and entrenched NeoCon mentality in the Republican Party that just flat out refuses to see this man win. It's their self interests that trump everyone elses well being. While the message Paul spreads seems to grow, it is dissappointing to witness all the individuals that still fall for the special interest agenda thinking it'll somehow benefit the public. What a joke.

Because a crowd that appears for a rally is not a scientific sampling of the electorate...

See, I struggle with this, especially when you take into account how low voter turnout has been and how energized Pauls supporters are. You would think he would perform much better then he has in this case. Satistically speaking, I find it hard to beleive he hasnt been able to win one state thus far in a legitimate enviroment.

An "energized" voter still only votes once...ideally.

Most polls put, as a percentage, his support at about the same level that vote for him on election day.

how is it possible there are still people these days that sympathise with the views of a Santorum.

Human beings can be looked upon as numbers in a sampling...you can get a 4 percent accurracy in a poll for the entire United States with a sample size of just two thousand.

It's the very "energy" of a Ron Paul rally that is deceiving...

Look at the movie "Woodstock"...you would think that because of the size and attitude of that crowd every one in the USA is a hippy...but we know that was not true...

when a "special interest group" (and Ron Paul supporters are a special interest group) reaches 10 percent of the population...they start to exert influence...but don't dominate.
