As far as I'm concerned, this guy was lucky his camera was not knocked away by Chris's assistant, because I can assure you if his assistant had gotten riled up, this Jason character would not have liked the outcome of his little attempt at 'ambush journalism'.

He approaches Chris as a fan who wants a picture, then shoves a microphone in front of his face and tries to conduct an interview on the spot? WTF?! You want a political interview? Set one up!!! Don't try to ambush the man at a film festival when he's there to promote a movie. Chris Rock has never been shy to speak his mind, or to own any of his comments, but there is a time & a place for everything, ...and despite how gracious one may be, ...one has to draw the line at deceptive snakes trying to take advantage. I say again Good for Chris. He didn't go far enough. Jason should have been made to eat that damned camera!!!  >:(

Its funny, but If I was in Chris' shoes Id probably act the same way, I fucking hate the way Journalists conduct themselves now days.

Usually Chris brings up race in interviews whenever he hasn't had a movie or comedy tour going for a while. He has to keep himself relevant somehow.

As others have said, it was an ambush, that's what you get.
