Just got an update from TheAlexJonesChannel that Youtube just took down Russia Today's channel.
I got a notification they had just uploaded a video at 2:50 am, so it had to have been sometime with the past 1.5 hrs.. According to TheAlexJonesChannel, a purge may be starting. I wonder what Alex Jones himself is going to have to say about this? Or if he'll even still be on YouTube. ???

They have to have a reason for the suspension?

factually incorrect

Ya they gave one, but check it out... when you go to their page... unless they were hacked.
I couldn't even get their news feed through my Android which tends to give the notion of a google takedown a bit more credibility in my eyes.
factually incorrect
Benny, if you're talking about my timing, I agree. I thought I had posted in earlier this morning when I got in, but I fell asleep before hitting the 'post' button :-[ When I woke up and saw it still sitting there, I hit post. If that's NOT what you're refering to... carry on. :D

Yeah, it's back up now, but I can assure you it wasn't working at 4:00am, neither was their news app on my phone.
The News app appears to be working as well now (http://www.jaguarenterprises.net/images/em/shrug.gif)

If you're a subcriber, you will know they upload a new video usually every hr or so.
The last upload notification I got came in at 2:50 am about green beer & St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Moscow.
but if you go throughout the channel history of uploads, there was a huge gap of about 22 hrs. They didn't upload another video until 5 hrs ago.
I wonder what happened?
I'm thinking there was a hack of some sort, because I cannot see Google or Youtube posting such a juvenile explanation as to why they were suspended. Unless it was a deliberate attempt to bolster support of proposed internet regulatory legislation. :-\
ps: Another oddity is that each one of the videos they posted within the past 5 hrs ALL have roughly 301 views EACH, despite the fact that the uploads were staggered over hours. Something is very fishy.

I love Russia Today. Hard hitting news reporting without the stupid US political embellishments everywhere.

Yes, instead we get Kremlin-dictated embellishments instead. Much better. ::)
