I thought I would share this with all the fellow fuel-heads at getbig.
After 3 years of non stop fabrication, invention, dollars, blood, sweat and tears, the truck was unveiled at FitX this weekend.
It is a 1969 Chev c10. Originally had a tired old 327, stock with no mods at all.
Now a lexus engine with twin turbo, twin superchargers and NOS.
Airbagged, chopped, lengthened, all steel body fabrication, suicide doors, beaten copper throughout, hardwood tray, etc, etc, etc.
I will post more pictures of the engine and interior as I get a chance, in the meantime, here it is.

You take a classic like a 69 Chevy Truck and turn it into something that I see Mexicans riding down the street drunk on Tequila and Corona???? FAIL!!!

Suicide doors? Apt. Bullet holes? In my gym, more than likely. ;D

Shots of the engine, a couple of weeks before finishing ....

I don't really get it, seems to be a jumbled assembly of pieces. (kinda like branch warren :) )

We kind of went for a mad max kind of look, so I will take that. It is a work of art with every single panel hand fabricated, eg the rear guards were rolled from flat steel.

who's tim?

Rear guard fabrication

How much horsepower?
-
Lots of great detail ... How much time and money spent?

Actually, if you look hard you can see if has nice lines but it's just difficult to tell from these pics. clearly a lot of work went into it.
you forgot the tow hitch though ;)

Not sure yet Mike, plenty but don't know the number.

Where's the token hot chicky babe draping all over the car.
Is this just for show Tony, or is the car street registered and driveable!
I am sure this would turn a lot of heads in the streets of Melbourne
Great rebuild by the way - Looks Great!

I was hoping you would chime in, I always enjoy your car threads.
You would have loved the expo, one of my event partners were Audi, they brought along the new R8, v10 spyder convertible. It was a show stopper, I am hoping for a test drive soon. 2 years ago, they gave me the R8, V8 for 3 full days. I went to bed with nausea, migranes and vertigo every night that week, incredible car.

Don't need a tow hitch, the whole back was built and lengthened to put a chopper in for shows. See the channel in the middle. Shipping chain link to anchor the bike.
I modified this one for branding.

The truck was a lot better left alone in its "grown man status". You must have consulted with Vince Basile in how to throw a pile of shit together
-
cool
I'm getting it now. :)
-
Dorian's truck was better
-
insane fab work, the engine is a bit too much but crazy skills, thats is one sick ride.
