Mentzers body was built early on with volume then maintained with Heavy Duty and lots of gear if indeed he did actually practice Heavy Duty........heard a lot of stories to the contrary but who knows ?

I train 3 times a week, 25-40 min each workout only doing 10 sec rest between set.. started this 1 moth ago since a just got a baby and dont have time to train as much as i used to, i maintain a good size at 800mg primo....

Also mentzer did have some very good tips, both training and diet wise... only eating 1g protein per kg bodyweight, i dont know about the biggest abusers but i have tried this for 3 weeks now, and i havent lost any more size since i started...

Offcourse when i was abusing i was eating plenty more, but thats was because i didnt know better....

I always laugh at idiots who workout 5 days a week. If you feel the need to train more than 3 days in one week, balls to the walls, you are a fucking idiot. Legs, back, chest. Repeat next week.

I train 3 times a week, for up to 30mins each session. Legs/abs, chest/arms, back/shoulders. Works just fine for me and I don't feel lethargic like I did when doing more volume. I think more people should try lower volume, it's a good way to get results without living in the gym.

Sure you can if you train hard, and eat correctly, just saying the more Mentzer wrote, the less time he advocated for training time.

For me personally, this doesn`t work, but as I tell anyone,do what works best for you as we are all different and are gonna` respond differently to different methods.

I just don't like training that way, plus I think you risk getting injured sooner....

I train 3 times a week, for up to 30mins each session.  legs/calves ; back/shoulders ; pecs/arms

took me 15 years to arrive to this final efficient level.  I hate the training but i'm a master of brain / muscle connection

all natural, no torn muscle, no injuries, no drugs, no powder.  only creatine & bcaa's.
