Let's say you or someone you know have some Test400 that says "Sell by 7-2009" on it. Would you/would you advise them to still use it in, say April 2012?

Depends on how it was stored.

If it was stored well it might be weaker at best, but it depends on who made it. I doubt it's contaminated or anything, but i would rather be safe than sorry.

I've used way expired AAS that was stored in a cool, dry place.
I doubt there was any breakdown of any kind.
