It looks bad but he wasn't intending to murder the guy. This shit happens all the time in the NBA. Most of these pussies push, shove, punch and throw elbows but they swing and miss. World Peace is gonna get suspended because he's one of the few that actually landed a clean blow. It looked worse than it was because Peace is strong and he caught a smaller guy in a bad spot. Sucks for everyone involved.

The guy lost it, and whether or not wanted to, could of seriously hurt the other guy. That was pure assault. Time for him to go. It makes the league look bad, makes the Lakers look worse.

Artest is not even in Dennis Rodman's ballpark as a player. Not even close. Rodman could guard 7 footers when he had to. He even guarded a young Shaq and did it effectively. Rodman was also closer to 6'6" in height but could rebound like an animal because he out worked everyone under the boards. Rodman was also a lot more intelligent than he was given credit for. He was able to pick up the nuances of Chicago's triangle defense with little difficulty and that's a complicated NBA offensive scheme to master.
Artest is too stupid and he's a half ass player. Plays good D once in awhile when his head is in the game.
He should be banned for the playoffs. But he won't be. Likely will miss the first round of the playoffs.
