oiled up in a sparkly thong? Just so we keep it bodybuilding related.
Anyone who has been - thong or not - post up.
Supposed to go in a couple of weeks, and truth be told... while I do a lot of flying in airplanes, I am not all that keen about jumping out of them.
-
Did parapenting in Venezuela, but that's a bit different. It's nice to see birds flying beneath you.

I have done Hang gliding in Rio, but totally not sure what to expect with this other gig. This is the one where the instructor is strapped to your back and you both ride the same chute down

I refuse to believe you haven't done this.

I refuse to believe you haven't done this.
Not with those gay projections of yours you can't.
Unlike you, most people don't wake up every day with semen and sac sweat residue coating their face.
Carry on bitch.

Only on special missions when landing an aircraft is no option... typically deep in the enemy territory.
-
I did the indoor skydiving, it was different. I think it would be more fun jumping out of a plane though.

Yeah... I mean other than that. Armed only with a knife, aviator shades and tribal tat.

I almost went with a bunch of my classmates when I was in business school.
Then I thought about it.
Jump out of a perfectly good plane? For fun???
Fuck that, I enjoy living.

Hopefully "Benny B" goes skydiving some day soon with a malfunctioning parachute.

"Hulkotron",hahaha...oh brother. ::)

I have done 1 tandem jump and 12 solo jumps.
My highest jump was from 21k feet.
It's an insane rush and can be very addicting.
I think everyone should try a solo jump at least once. It's quite an experience in many ways.

1 tandem, 1 solo. Free fall is amazing.

Ten strong men couldn`t push me out of a plane.

I sky dive right on top of your mom

Outed for wanting to stay on a plane filled with ten strong men.

Good one!! LOL :D
-
Never. Too inhibited so sky dive.
-
I went once. Tandem.
16k feet.
-
I got a friend who jumps from high elevations wearing oxygen tanks in pitch blackness into uncharted regions and gets picked up by a submarine about 24 to 36 hours later.
TRUTH .... but if I told ya more, I'd have to kill ya.
-
I've been a few times. The only bad part is every time I go I have to loose 75lbs of lean muscle due to the fact that most places require you to be 220 or less to go tandem.
-

midget + taser = terminal velocity. ;D
-
I went once. strangest part was right after leaving plane and still going horizontal. once velocity of gravity picked up , it was exhilarating and exciting.
when I pulled the cord, scary at first, but once canopy opened and slow descent , it was fun.
-
The silence and tranquility you feel when the chute opens and you're gently floating is amazing every time, even after so many jumps.
-
Once. Solo - 10K feet. I was terrified I'd pull the wrong cord. It was amazing and I would've done it again in a heartbeat. Then I did some research.
-
I was in the Airborne when I was in the Military... after the 3rd jump it's all the same!

And????
Watched the prep video of this and it was quite interesting. Especially the part where the instructor has to reenforce in the person's head to scream when they jump from the plane. You would think that would be a given but he said most people forget to. Said it was important because you needed to exhale the air in your lungs after leaving the plane and before inhaling during the dive or else the coldness would/might cause you to choke and cough.

The safety practices of the club where I jumped, the precision behind packing the chute, the area I was jumping in (lots of obstacles - trees, power lines, etc.), the training, certifications and just the overall professionalism of the team... not highly rated in the "industry".
My lines were tangled (which happens 95% of the time) and by the time I untangled them, I was disoriented. The most terrifying part was remembering which cord was for the main chute, which one was for the cut away and which one was for the reserve.
My jump was PERFECT - landed right on the X - but I was scared shitless during the fall because I thought my radio communication wasn't working and I wasn't sure I was where I should be. The guy on the ground later said I was doing so well that I didn't need any coaching, but I didn't know it because he wasn't talking to me! Just a little "hey, you're doing great" would've helped ease the anxiety.
Two weeks later, my jumpmaster was killed in a plane crash. He and his wife were coming in to a small airport (VFR) and the the conditions changed to where they couldn't see the runway and crashed into a swamp.
The club was shut down shortly thereafter since my jumpmaster was the guy who ran it.
Things have come a long way in terms of equipment and safety since then from what I hear.

I have done it for work... if i had a list of things i hated to do, this is probably at the bottom of the list... theres a second up there that your thinking .." hmm, im sitting in a perfectly fine airplane, and im gonna jump out the airplane with a parachute that im HOPING will open"
