Jarhead did a great job of making you feel how desolate and empty hanging out in the desert can be. I really got into that movie, I don't know how those kids deal with that shit out there, going bored out of your mind with no scenery and nothing to do, nothing to even look at. Just wandering around with a bunch of young men.
