Cool lifting.
Makes you wonder what he could do in a deadlift alone.

x2,lol'd.
Power/Olympic lifting is a useless pursuit.
No money, and i mean literally fucking nothing.
Most of them are fat fucks or simply look like the average gymrat
A fuck load of accumulated injuries, of which many are serious and drastically impairs quality of life.
No matter how strong these bozo's get at one specific lift, all that goes out the window as it's simply meaningless non-transferable strength.
I'd love to see these guys fight their way out of a silverback or grizzly bear attack. lol
...or to make it fair, try not to get a major concussion from an average no name 130lb'er muay thai fighter.
OWNED
Weightlifting and powerlifting are very safe sports.
Sports are about PERFORMANCE.
If your whole life is all about who can beat who in a fight, well good luck to you sir. ::)
P.S. Weightlifting...it's...it's...beautiful. :'(

1. Bullshit.
2. Sure, but what do you get out of Olympic/power lifting? why do you do it? do you even know why?
3. Look up Straw-man argument and have fun learning.
4. Weight lifting as in moderate weight, body-building type routines to keep in shape and look good, then yes.
1. I couldn't find statistics right now comparing different sports but it's telling that 2008 Olympics had 1 violent weightlifting injury (elbow dislocation) and it was very famous and shocked people. The only serious injury on weightlifting platform at the Olympics that I have seen or atleast remember seeing.
2. Strength and work capacity, which are useful for almost anything.
3. As if your argument of fighting a gorilla was a decent one. ::)
4. Weightlifting, not weight lifting.
