Anyone else as excited about this as I am? The brave people of France have taken it upon themselves to once and for all prove that raising taxes on the rich, increasing government spending, growing government payrolls, and regulating businesses within an inch of their death does not work! Twenty years ago, the Soviet bloc collapsed. Isn't it time we have another reminder of the failure of centrally-planned economies?
Great article about this, BTW:

What's the over/under on number of promises he breaks in the first 90 days?
Not that they weren't before, but France is done. They're a joke who has been piggy-backing on German success for far too long.

Does it matter? The more promises he keeps the better! Higher taxes, price controls, increased government payrolls, and skyrocketing government spending... I hope he attempts to keep all of his promises. The quicker the collapse the better.
