WTF were those loud booms/explosions that happened about 6 times this morning?

Shook the fucking building and rattled the windows.  Can't find any mention of it online.

Just SMM in town...he got attacked on his morning jog and had to break a few backs..

 There is an AF base near Columbus. When I lived there is the 60's sonic booms were quite common. Maybe one of the jet jockeys outta there decided to go supersonic

they are mini blasts set off to scare off loads of birds.  they did it in nashville as well.

Sounds possible.
Usually they refrain from doing that over places where people could be disturbed though.
Wouldnt suprise me if some smartass in an fighter decided to drop the hammer and go full burner over Columbus, Id do it.
