Poll: Romney Winning the Women's Vote
I expect the media to be in a surly mood tonight. After months of manufactured "GOP War on Women" silliness, a new CBS/NYT poll (!) finds Romney leading Obama 46-44% among woman voters. Mind you, that isn't GOP woman or even independent women, but ALL women voters.
More importantly, today's poll finds a notable shift among women in just the last month. In April, Obama was leading Romney by 6% among women. No other group saw an 8 point shift in their support.
Turns out women's top concern is the same as men's: The Economy. All the contrived outrage about contraceptives and women's health can't mask the fact that 73% of voters listed either the economy or the federal deficit as their number on issue.
Looks like its going to be a long, hot summer for Team Obama.

The new CBS/New York Times poll out last evening is, on the surface, the biggest disaster for the Barack Obama campaign at this point in the 2012 election.
Down overall? Check. Voters frustrated with the economy and how things are going? Check. Gay marriage endorsement backfire? Check.
But this might be the worst underlier of all: Obama is even losing among women.
Now, before we delve deeper, we should point out the funky methodology that has some — ranging on the spectrum from the Obama campaign to the National Journal — questioning how the results hold up.
This is a "panel-back" survey — the same voters were polled this time as were polled in mid-April. Only 562 of the original 856 registered voters re-responded to the poll this time around.
Still, the poll oversamples Democrats — among registered voters, the sample pool is composed of 36 percent Democrats, 34 percent Independents and 30 percent Republicans.
Romney's overall lead stands at 46 percent to 43 percent. Last month, the two candidates were deadlocked. There are a few underliers that spell disaster for Barack Obama. First is the women vote. What the heck happened here? Last month, Obama led among women by 6 percentage points. In this poll, he's trailing Romney by 2 points in the women's vote. It's an even bigger shift when you consider other surveys, like last month's CNN poll that found Obama destroying Romney among women by 16 points.

You don't get it, do you? It doesn't matter if Obama and the libs do the social issue thing or the economic issue thing, Romney and the GOP can BEAT THEM on it.
Obama is doing this, because HIS RECORD SUCKS!! Per the NYT, 70% of independents are on to Obama's BS, citing that they know Obama did this "evolution" for political purposes.
And, per Gallup, 86% say Obama's flip-flop will have NO effect or less likely to vote for Obama (60% no effect; 26% less likely)
The NYT poll has nearly identical numbers, 83% say Obama's gay-pandering will have NO effect or less likely to vote for Obama (57% no effect; 26% less likely)

Perhaps you need Rush's hearing aid. NOTHING is going to distract the American people from the economy: Not birth-control pills, not gay "marriage", not dogs, not beating up guys with blonde hair 50 years ago, not shoving fat girls 40 years ago.
If you talk about the "select group of voters across state lines", Obama is in EVEN WORSE TROUBLE. He just coughed up at least three swing states with his homo-pandering. And, Romney is within arms reach of Oregon and Michigan, states heretofore were seen as absolutely impossible for any Republican to win.
No matter how you slice it, it's Obama and the left that want to talk about ANYTHING but the economy. But, the polls won't let them and the American people won't let them. Obama can't run or hide from his record, no matter how reporters get "chills" down their spine or "thrills" up their legs.
