How embarrassing. Those things are AWD, would seem pretty difficult to lose control while going slow around a corner.

a patch of diesel perhaps just as he was giving it a bit more gas ?
on a side note.. ! this was my argument in the ' bieber's ferrari' thread.. these things aren't fucking toys. you don't just pass your test then jump straight into a high performance sports car. and that's as an adult. nevermind a fucking child with hairless bollocks , wearing his trousers around his bastard knees ::)
-
Daddy's car was too much for him.
-
yes, i'm wagering it was diesel on the paint of the crossing . those fuckers tend to be extra slippy even when just wet. diesel makes it very slippy.. just ask a biker .

I doubt it , the guy filming would have skid as well no? it's just another case of having more money than talent

he started accelerating more as he was hitting the crossing.
your point is still valid though.. 'more money than talent' ;D

Its easier then you'd think to lose control in one of those. My uncle has a 2011 gallardo spyder and almost lost it doing the exact same thing. Was going slow into a turn and then hit the gas. He didn't hit anyone though.

Happens to me in my 4 litre Toyota Hilux all the time, no weight in the back, two much power in the front, and woopie, wheel spin and loss of traction, always got to be careful when turning from standing start in a powerful vehicle, if you were going to show off in a Lamborghini, probably best to do it in a straight line - still this guy is a tool - revving his Lamborghini hard, showing off and then crashing a fine ass car like that during the most basic of turns. What a Loser!

I can't find any data showing any Gallardos were RWD except for the newer LP550-2 (with the 2 meaning 2wd, or RWD)
Wikipedia lists it as AWD from 2003 on, except for the LP550
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamborghini_Gallardo
Some people want them RWD and have them converted or remove the front driveshaft

http://www.luxury4play.com/lamborghini/42962-converting-gallardo-awd-rwd.html
While searching for this data, I actually came across a google link that said "Gallardos are AWD, right?" and it linked to this same video you posted.
Maybe this guy had his converted, which would be hard to believe considering only a very experienced driver would want it in RWD, and this
guy is clearly a rookie behind the wheel.

awful color for that car

Sure he does ::)

You know what? I stand corrected , I thought the first ones were probably just thinking of the LP 550 Balboni which is

That's correct. The LP 550 is rwd, but standard Gallardos are AWD. I'd say it was the small change in elevation on the pavement, along with the 500+wheel horsepower, and his constant acceleration around the bend that "did his ass in". My buddy has a stoutly built WRX(not STI) pushing 480hp/420(ish)tq that will walk sideways on concrete roadways if he actually dumps the clutch.
As for me, I've got a Terminator and choose not to "hoon" on curves. Check out the video of this Roush.

miserable people laughing off this guys problem
-
Yeah it's easier than you think. I did it in my Lambo. My Ferrari's aren't to bad for it but I don't like them as much. I prefer my Aston Martin just to knock around in.
-
i didn't see my man, parker, post. he must have had a seizure. ;D
-
Sure he does ::)

This is why I teach people in my motorcycle safety classes not to accelerate hard when making a turn. Cars especially trucks dump fuel out of their exhaust pipes when accelerating. If your at a dead stop, wait untill you get strait before you hit the gas hard. Accelerating while making a turn is a recipe for disaster as demonstrated by the lambo squid.

Bigjim = owned ;D

He got away with no serious damage except maybe his ego but checkout this recent crash in Singapore. Driver was from China and driving a Ferrari when he crashed into a cab.

WTF! That was like the Ferrari was shot out of the barrel! And it seems like the car with the video and another car didn't stop to see if anybody was ok, they kept going!

Looks like a 599, and from the wheels a 599 GTO...dumb ass driver, driving thru the light.

You win :o

you should probably lose your license for 2 years if you drive a powerful car like a dbag and wreck it on video.
