Title: Bruce Willis Blasts Mitt Romney
Post by: Option D on May 23, 2012, 07:25:14 PM
Bruce Willis lays into Mitt Romney in a new interview with Esquire, calling the Republican presidential candidate a “disappointment” and an “embarrassment.”

The Die Hard star, who in the past has been vocal in his support for Republicans, tells the mag, “He’s just such a disappointment, an embarrassment. Chin up, hair up. He’s just one of those guys, one of those guys who says he’s going to change everything.”

Willis continues, “And he’ll get in there, and they’ll smile at him and introduce themselves: ‘We’re Congress, we make sure nothing changes.’ He won’t do it. He can’t.”

Nor is he too kind to the president.

“Everybody wants to be Barack Obama, says Obama, “And what did he change?”

Asked if he thinks Romney will win the election, the actor states, “No. Nah. I don’t really care.”

Willis goes on to mock the politician, deeming him “the Dash Riprock of the Republican party,” referring to the egotistical, image-obsessed character from The Beverly Hillbillies.

What do you think of Willis’ comments about Romney?

anytime you have aDennis Miller or other repub actor/singer/comedian, it's "he's so brave and smart and inspiring".

Anytime it's from the left, it's "hollywoods needs to stay out of politics!"

Reminds me of FOX and friends trashing roseanne, saying nobody cares what celbrities think of politics... Now, to tell us what he thinks of politics, hank williams, jr...

hahaha epic hypocrisy.

Bruce is right... They both suck ass.

Side bar... Met him back in 1996... He was totally cool... I hung out with him and his people all day (I was working security at a local theme park at the time and was plain clothing it for his entourage. I think that Demi was shooting GI Jane at the time) and he was completely chill and easy going.

Nothing bothered the guy... All class.

Bruce Willis is a dumbass.

There was never a problem in 2008. No, Bush wasnt great, but he definately wasnt anywhere near as bad as people made him out to be. Mediocre at the very worst. The problem is that Barack Obama is grossly incompetent. And that has been shown the past 3.5 years. Things will change when Mitt Romney gets elected. The problem was thinking change was needed in the first place.

Yeah Bush wasn't that bad. Just two unwinnable wars, nation building, increasing spending at a faster rate than his Democratic predecessor, blowing up the deficit and national debt, shitting all over our civil liberties, and increasing the role of government at a greater rate than any President since LBJ. Sounds like a "mediocre" conservative, right?  ::)

Lulz.
I find it odd that being near center now days is almost considered.. bad.
Small government, personal liberty, fiscal responsability... all deemed bad by both parties.

Weird to me.
