the job of governor is a LOT more like being president than being a venture capitalist.
he woudl rather talk about business than governing - cause he was very good at business, and pretty shitty at governing.
I don't think anyone here would argue being 47th out of 50 in job creation, investing obamacare, appointing dems to supreme court, and signing an assault weapons ban is good governing.
His performance as governor is a lot more indicative of what we'd see from president romney.

He was in the most far leftist state. The thing making me feel a little better is his signing on to Ryan budget, putting Clement at the top of the SC pics, etc.

I got news for you - romney will probably face a dems senate. And the nation is a welfare state, in case you didn't notice. The "leftist" label probbaly applies to 51% of the population, at least. I know the majorty 'consider' themselves conservative, but with foodstamp numbers skyrocketing, romney going to have a lib nation of sheep.
He's saying he won't cut a trillion from budget - which means he ain't cutting off all that milkfat the population loves, all the handouts.
So while he's better than obama, you do have to look at his governing job and realize his presidency will be a lot more like that than his job at bain. Good governors become good presidents. lib governors?

There are twice as many Dem senate seats on the line as there are GOP seats. At the rate things are going, the Dems will bleed the Senate away, just as they did the House in 2010.
