Title: Anyone ever have this sensation?
Post by: Roger Bacon on June 01, 2012, 12:22:31 AM
I took the description below from another website because it's better than mine.  Anyone ever get this?  I've had it about five times.  These people say it scares them.  I think the first time it kind of scared me, but this last time about a week ago it was really cool, I felt like I was hanging onto my pillow to keep from falling off the earth, but it wasn't scary at all.

"I also experienced this phenomenon as a child and the memory of it has remained vivid for 55 years. (I was 5 years old when it happened) I was niether ill nor had any fever. It started by a feeling of growing bigger and bigger but lighter and lighter until i was so big I filled the whole universe. The sensation was acompanied by a low throbbing which I can only assume was my heart beating but it seemed to consume me in its sound. I could not move although I was so lightweight, only to expand further. Suddenly my whole being rushed down in size so fast that it took my breath away. I grew heavier the smaller I got until I was so small I could not be seen but my weight was extraordinary so much that I felt I would just fall through anything, straight through the centre of the earth and continue falling forever. I enjoyed this feeling and was not afraid of it. I have no idea what caused it but it has been with me for the whole of my life. When I was tiny and heavy I saw everything in the universe, well it seemed that way at the time."

I remember back in high school I was making an exam, sitting in a chair writing. Suddenly it felt like I was accelerating faster than anything I have ever felt before. Felt like I got crushed by my own weight. Lasted maybe 30 seconds. After this I still had that felling a few times. Sounds familiar?

This sort of sensation is fairly typical of blood sugar levels plummeting and then spiking as the body reacts. It is actually frequently noticed in situations where a person is mentally stressed because the brain consumes a lot of energy.

Twice I've had an intense awareness of the weight and extension of the bones and flesh on my face and skull and felt like a passenger in my head looking out the windows of his eyes.

Every time I cum

I don't know if you're just bullshitting, but I also got it (most extreme time) after cumming for the third time in 20 minutes.  :o  Felt like everything around me was huge, bed must have been a mile across.

I read that a symptom of schizophrenia and side effect of LSD is a distorted sense of feeling really gigantic or really tiny.  This is really intense and vivid when it happens.

Alice in Wonderland Syndrome---It comes after eating a piece of cake or pastry that has too much sugar in it...usually after swearing off sweets...
It tends to happen more to women than men.
