Those pushups at the end will be critical for new spurts of growth.

All the pain with the endless sets, drop-sets, giant sets, beyond failure sets just seems like such a waste of time/effort. Is there any evidence that this shit works? It seems intuitive to human beings that 'hard work' = 'success' but I'm not sure pumping up a 50 lb dumbell for endless sets does anything towards that end.

But powerlifters look like shit and lifting heavy weights doesn't build muscle better than light weights according to GB  ::) ::) ::)

After looking at JJ's physique if "powerlifting foundation" and "dense built by heavy weights" muscle still doesn't mean shit to you then you are a fucking moron.

I like Johnnie and am prepared to fight anyone with a dissenting opinion if they will provide me with a plane ticket to their dojo.

If I didn't have to put up with the border checkpoint (I'm muslim) I'd have no qualms with driving there in person to fuck you up bitch.

He's not that impressive in person thick yes but imo branch is more impressive maybe cause of the freak factor, but johnnie definitely has the better physique by miles. Both shorter than I thought, branch looks to be 5'5 and johnnie maybe 5'7 tops

got to give it to Johnnie crazy chest and traps, if you could just bring up the sweep on those quads and bring those calves up.

Epic appearance by Branch to camouflage Johnny's career having ended 10 years ago.
Big car - leased and payed with schmo money.
"All day" overfed pig trainer knowing what's best in the fitness world.
Stop watch cameos to blend sport into this drug ordeal.

Johnny seems like a nice guy.

Those 275-pound reps on incline look a bit too difficult. Strange.

The man's calves do not deserve to be on a pro stage.

Great chest and traps.

this x2.

think and dense, but in person he seems compact. seems like he could do the 212 class.

his 275 incline's looked more difficult than some other guy's 405/495.... wasn't expecting that from johnnie. maybe this was his first workout after a couple months off.... maybe he'd been running zero carbs for the past week.

I don't think that's 275. That's not an ordinary Olympic bar. It looks to be custom-made and my guess is that it weighs considerably more than 45 lbs.

Why on Earth would Johnnie do a 212? He's on the open circuit and has won three shows, including a victory about month ago, not to mention he's placed top 10 at the Olympia.

What's wrong with doing lunges with this amount of weight? I don't think I ever exceed 90lbs, and I front squat 310lbs for reps. It's a knee killer, prolly worst of all and not type of exercise where you wanna put excessive amount of weight...
