sometimes these internet movies just have you glued to the edge of your seat way more than anything you see in a movie theater.

when the russian gymnasts were goofing off 1000 feet in the air, I could barely breathe watching.  yet I"m bored in most movies.

What was it that came through the window?  And damn, he kept drivIng like nothing happened there for about two seconds, I guess the pain hadn't caught up to him yet. And 240, I know what you mean. Maybe our brains are too wired to be able to sit through long movies. I will however say that Inception was one of the coolest movies I've seen since the first matrix. I was glued to the screen the whole time.

I think with movies, you know it's fake, you know they're never going to show you anything too gory, too real, too anything.

you can watch a slow-mo youtube clip with sad music - and you might see ANYTHING.  You see people REALLY die.
