Here is a short history lesson on the first sanctioned MMA match in American History - "Judo" Gene Lebell VS Milo Savage, a top ranked boxer, in Salt Lake City, Utah, from December, 1963. It was Judo VS Boxing in this match, who came out on top?

NOT a true statement that Bruce Lee knew "nothing" about grappling before meeting Gene, as Rogan states. Nevertheless, the story about LeBell and Seagal is funny.

Bruce Lee Guest Stars in Ironside (1967)
In this episode, "Tagged For Murder," Bruce Lee plays Leon Soo, an instructor of a karate school. Ironside's assistant, Eve Whitfield, is sent to the school to inquire about a dog tag that belonged to Soo's late father, which holds to key to solving a murder.
