(CNN) -- George Zimmerman's wife was arrested Tuesday afternoon for allegedly lying at his bond hearing about the couple's finances.
Shellie N. Zimmerman, 25, faces a perjury charge, according to Jackie Barnard, spokeswoman for the State Attorney's office for the Fourth Judicial District of Florida.
Shellie Zimmernan will be arraigned July 31, according to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. She met conditions for a $1,000 bond and was released Tuesday afternoon.
Her husband, 28, is accused in the February shooting death of Trayvon Martin, 17, in Sanford.
George Zimmerman had been free on bond for weeks until June 3, when he turned himself in to authorities in Seminole County.
In April, Zimmerman was charged with second-degree murder after the case was referred to a state attorney for a review. He was released from custody later that month after posting bail.
But on June 1, Seminole County Judge Kenneth Lester Jr. ordered Zimmerman back to jail, accusing the suspect of not being truthful about how much money he had access to when his bond was set months earlier.
At the time, his wife told the court under oath that the family was indigent. But prosecutors alleged that Zimmerman had $135,000.

I dont really feel I have defended anyone only pointed to the facts of the case.

I didn't say you were one of those people.
We can already safely say that zimmerman is guilty of lying to the State of Florida. his bail was revoked for lying about money the visiting room recordings showed he knew very well about. His woman was charged for lying to the court under oath, when the recordings showed she knew about the $.
The only thing that makes the shoot legal is zimmerman's word - which we now know is not credible.
Aside from his statement (now tainted by his lying stink), you have an armed adult with alcohol history, assault on LEO and domestic violence charges chasing an unarmed minor 2 blocks in the dark, while calling him profane names and accusing him of stealing bikes.

I do actually feel sorry for Zimmerdumb...I really don't believe he is a bad guy or racist per se....he got caught up in trying to be a good citizen but bit off more than he could chew....he wasn't trained and he might have thought that he was tougher than he was since he carried a gun...I wish he would have just left the kid alone

I do actually feel sorry for Zimmerdumb...I really don't believe he is a bad guy or racist per se....he got caught up in trying to be a good citizen but bit off more than he could chew....he wasn't trained and he might have thought that he was tougher than he was since he carried a gun...I wish he would have just left the kid alone

I carry a gun and love my rights and love stand your ground - BUT - when a dickhead can chase a kid 2 blocks in the dark (knowing damn well the kid's gf dad's house was on the next street, and zimmerman lived on the other side of park)...
That's a clear abuse of 'stand your ground'.
the man who wrote 'stand your ground' says the law has nothing to do with zimmerman.
and - voila, as my ass predicted - 300,000 people have signed a petition to have 'stand your ground' removed in florida.
So to everyone who said zimm woudln't erode gun rights, i invite you to to blow a homeless man in an alley. it's happening. And the trial hasn't even begun. He's abusing this law, which doesn't even apply to him - and libs are happy to use this to get rid of the law.
