There are many popular dietary cleanses on the market that claim to promote health, but Dr. Adrienne Youdim of the Weight Loss Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles says people do not need them. She says the human body, using the liver, kidneys and gastrointestinal tract, is well-equipped to get rid of bacteria, chemicals and viruses and has a "very intricate way of detoxing on its own."

I would imagine as long as your not eating pizza everyday your body could cleanse itself just fine
