It really is bad. I don't understand how someone can be 18 years of age or older and still watch wrestling. Its so horribly bad.

yeah I'd rather watch action movies with fake fight scenes and computer animated shots.
or maybe a "reality" show where all the lines are scripted.

Yeah i'd rather watch people do and say things that they normally wouldn't, or people pretending to be other people.
Why not even listen to people saying words with rhyme but making the words sound differently, or why not watch a bunch of grown men chase a creation constructed by leather in a certain geometrical shape.
Or why not watch people move their limbs in a hopping or convulsing manner wearing odd outfits.

The sad thing is years ago when he was posting over on s-ology before he got into wrestling, he had a great physique. I saw him two years ago in Vegas after he got hurt (again) and he just wasn't the same.

Well, it's more to do with the fact that people that go to the movies know its fake, as opposed to die hard wrestling fans who take it a tad big too serious

Hmmm 1 guy acts like this and its a big deal! Its the same as people who get scared watching horror films, which is taking them too seriously also!
Btw im not a big wrestling fan, just dont get why anyone complains about how it sucks! Its generally for kids anyway ...

Well, Im really only complaining it sucks because it does these days. I actually thought it was quite good and entertaining in the 70s, 80s and early 90's

Isnt that to do with age though? Im in my 20s and i can say i loved it 15 years ago, but just stopped watching after a while as i grew up. I wouldve thought most normal people the same, since its geared towards kids IMO

i agree, the 70,s was a great wrestling decade, with superstar billy graham, bob backlund, bo bo brazil, andre the giant, bruno sammartino ect

Maybe has to do with age, however, if there are wrestling critics (do those even exist? lol), I would think they would agree that wrestling overall was better in the 70s, 80s and early 90s. Its almost like everything has been done and they are reaching for story lines and characters. Back in the day, characters were unique. They had their own personality, etc. Today all the guys are just the same.

Given my age, I followed it more in the 80s and 90s. But those above names are classic wrestlers :)

'Guyback' is as natural as a giraffe fucking a washing machine....

Goldberg just had the look. You can't just recreate that.

Goldberg parlayed his WWE career into other shit because he's a GGew.
-
wrestling is pretty silly but I did enjoy it as a kid/teenager. T
his guy is a lumbering fool, overacting, stiff and badly copying goldberg. The two jobbers acting especially weak is ridiculous, Goldberg was unique, a huge guy but so explosive and fast there was no time for bad acting from the nobodies. He practically snapped people in half in the ring and from what I heard alot of guys dreaded wrestling him because he was so rough and they actually came away feeling a little worse for wear ;D

Still a big dude, all around big dude though?
Yeah. Still big. But big in a blocky power lifter kind of way. Back in 2003 he was big as in a amateur bodybuilder with potential kind of way.
He can't really train the way he used with the injuries he has had. He is very injury prone which doesn't exactly help when you are trying to develop a professional wrestling career to retire off of.
Still a cool dude though. When he was working at the casino in Vegas he would get me perks there and at other casinos since all employees that work in the casino do favors with each other as part of a professional trade off.

Ryback.
He used to post there as Silverback. But had all his posts wiped when he started getting looked at by the WWE the first time.
