Carls Jr and Hardees are owned by the same co. Carls Jr is the like the West Coast Hardees.

North San Diego locals know all about Nessy Burgers in Fallbrook (Hwy 15 & 76). But the word has been spreading for years. Now in a new location, about 300 yards north.

Mickey D's, if your into self punishment. Wendy's, Jack and Carl's in that order. Fuddruckers, where you build your own burger, been around for years and not bad depending how you build it yourself.. Couple of burger joints along PCH that aren't bad at all, could give the corp giants a run for their money.

Suggest a Animal Style burger, for a start. All this even applies to fries and shakes. Any way you what it, any style. One thing about their fries is you have to eat them right away. If you take them home to eat, never quite the same. Even have root beer floats.

BB'ers & lifters have know about this for years. Very popular with football players. IN-N-OUT's burgers really go great with beer, made for each other.
